ABOUT ME

Abdessalam BENMAISSA, graduated of the University Paris-Sorbonne (Paris-IV), is currently Professor of Philosophy at Mohammed v University of Rabat, Morocco. He received his PhD1 in 1982 and his PhD2 in 1990, both at Paris-Sorbonne. Professor Benmaissa was a Fulbright ResearchFellow in 2001at Vassar College and visiting Professor in 2004 at St Olaf and Lafayette College. His most kniwn works are Causality in classical and relativistic physics (1994), Problems in logic and epistemology (2000), Aspects of rational thinking if ancient amazigh culture (2005 and 2010). He has been appointed Expert for the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education (2003-2013). He is currently Director of Research Loboratory in Philosophy at UM5R and the Holder of UNESCO Chair in Philosophy and Critical Thinking.
